Yoga is

a living process towards intimacy.

Your life is busy.

Maybe it’s even a little chaotic right now. With so many demands from life are you making enough time for you? It’s not a selfish question.

You’re important too.

Maybe you need to give yourself time to relax your mind and body. Maybe your body hurts. Maybe your brain just won’t be quiet.

Yoga can help.

Want to take your first steps on the path of yoga but aren’t sure how?

I hope you find a resting place here for a while…
Or you are always welcome to call it home.

In the Beginning I arrived at yoga the same way a lot of people, maybe even you, did. At the end of my rope, frustrated with life, and on my bloody knees. A change had to happen, “And soon!”, I screamed at the sky.

It’s been well over a decade and that part is still in process.

At the time I lived on a farm in Jasper, Georgia where internet was sketchy, and YouTube did not exist. But Audible did and so I listened my way into a yoga practice. There were no studios, heck the nearest grocery store was 14 miles away. I was in the boonies, literally and figuratively.

I moved to Rock Hill, SC in 2012 to marry Terry Windell (more about him on our staff page) and found a boutique yoga studio that opened my world to healing and transformation. They offered a wide variety of yoga classes and workshops. I was that person who signed up for EVERYTHING…. Including teacher training. What was I thinking? I have no idea, but it felt right. This time I was not wrong. I received my initial YA 200 RYT designation in July of 2018 and began teaching in September. This is when Bunnydog Yoga was born. The name is a tribute to the very best dog in THE WORLD (more about her on the staff page, as well). Since that time I completed the additional 300 hours training and received my RYT-500 designation.

I am an amalgamation of all my teachers and mentors. The ones who taught me ballet, how to ride a horse, how to run a business, and how to pray. I have put all these learnings into my personal blender and now I want to offer that to you.
